I think I may need to consider getting a stamp of my own. I’ve been trying to think of ways to “sign” prints, I’m currently using a load of square primary coloured stickers but a stamp seems much closer to a real seal (sorry). The only question is will it stick, and for how long.
evrt:

Just got my custom logo stamp and ink pad in! Ironically, Scott Hansen was talking about this on his blog today, plus embossing which I might do for my business cards.
Anyway, got my test prints in yesterday and they look great. Just need one minor adjustment and then I’m ordering final prints. Ordered all of my shipping materials as well. The shop may be opening up as soon as next week!

I don’t know if I would recommend signing photos with a stamp. I actually just tested mine tonight, on a lustre (satin) finished photo and it smeared a little. Even though I am using an archival ink, I’m not planning on using this for photos. I’m really just using it for cards that I mail with the prints, or on packaging, and maybe business cards in the future. Plus it is almost 2” in diameter.
Are you wanting a wax seal? You can get custom stamps for that as well.

Bridge House / Max Pritchard Architect
This is quite an amazing house. I think I am drawn to it because of my childhood growing up in a very small rural town. My weekends were spent playing with my friends on their farms, often times wandering around in the creek bottoms. I could easily wake up to this scenary for the rest of my life. Big Ass Fans: Updated

I updated the post with a little background info….  just incase anyone was curious about them but didn’t want to visit the site.
Big Ass Fans
Do I need to say more? These things are awesome! I want a big open studio space someday, with one of these flying overhead. I’ve seen one first hand (in the old TWA hanger at the downtown airport) and they are really amazing. Plus efficient. Click for more information.
Background Info:
These fans spin very slowly, so don’t worry about chopping off your head. They spin slowly to reduce energy consumption, but because the blades are numerous and large, this moves more air again being energy efficient! They have a new model that supposedly only uses the energy equivalent of 1 small lightbulb.

Ok, seeing a store front like that, I had to look into it. What a great logo. Here is a video clip of the owner of the store. This place looks really awesome!

Even though it has been a while since I truly went out into the ‘Great Outdoors’, there are few things I love more. My family has been going to the very southern edge of Canada (by way of Minnesota) almost every single year since my father was 16. It is practically a second home to me, and I will forever be filled with fond summer memories.

These photos are from a Canada fishing trip several years ago (Ontario). I will hopefully be making a Canada trip either next summer, or the one following that. Happy Canada Day!!

There, I Fixed It.
It amazes me the “fixes” that people can come up with. If only they applied that creativity to other aspects of their life they might not be in such a predicament.

This is definitely a great site for a laugh. I especially love the Jiffy Pop as the fire alarm.
